I have been an English teacher, college professor and professional writer for over 30 years. My experience has taken me to work with students of all ages, public, private, parochial and charter schools. I have a BA in English, an MA in Education, and an MFA in Creative Writing.

As a educational professional with 5+ years of tutoring experience; worked with students from a variety of ages. My main focus are reading , writing and math. I love to get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I am patient and encouraging with all students. I am a recent graduate of Emory University with a passion for helping others improve their skills in language, reading, and writing. In college, my attention to detail and organization led me to become a Mandarin major. My passion for using words and texts to connect with others only strengthened during these undergraduate years, and also deepened my love for the English language as I began to analyze and compare the two languages.
