I work with students to meet them partway in their learning--to understand their learning styles, and how to make the topics and subjects being studied interesting and engaging to them. Whether that is having a creative student learn math by designing a Halloween costume, or encouraging a tech-minded student to write about their love for cars, I give each student a personalized approach. I also believe that helping students put the standardized tests and college application process into proper context makes them more successful students and helps the learning process.
