I have about 10 years of experience and I am a certified Childhood (1-6) teacher with a masters in Early Childhood Education and Masters Plus 30 as a Literacy Specialist and Special Education Teacher. I am currently working towards my EdD.
Subjects Include: Reading, Writing, Spelling/Phonics, Math, Language Arts, Homework Help, Test Taking Strategies, Math and ELA Common Core Test Prep.
I love the work that I do because I love seeing the new generation move forward in their education. My parents have always taught me that people can take everything away from you but not your education. Therefore, this is something that I want to enstill in every child that I tutor. I want to help them love to learn and achieve their goals and dreams. Children are our future.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to first get to know my student by having them complete an interest survey. In addition, I also have them complete assessments so I am able to correctly idenitfy their areas of need.
