About
I am Barbara T. Walker, a teacher with over 25 years of experience, a BA in Music Performance, MBA in Business and pursuing an MS. Ed in Elementary Education.
My teaching method is starting off basic first. I have no cookie cutter method because no two students are alike. I make sure that each lesson is catered specifically for the student I am teaching. I create a thought out lesson plan that works on each challenge the student has. I am one that extends range. If you start off in one vocal level, it is guaranteed that you will expand your range working with me. I am a technical teacher as well. Breathing and diction are my best friends and will be yours too! You will see a change in your vocal ability by the first and second lesson!
