Hi, my name is Michael Zhang. I will be entering my junior year of college at Cornell University this fall, studying biological engineering. I have completed 2 years of undergraduate coursework, finishing the majority of my pre-medical and general education requirements. I graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius Highschool with a weighted GPA of ~101, taking all Honors level and AP classes. In high school, I took a total of 15 AP Exams, scoring 13 5s and 2 additional 4s, and got a 35 on my ACT. I have gotten an 800 on SAT II's of Chemistry, and Math II and 790 on Bio. I also have taken the SAT exams, receiving a 1510 (minimal preparation). I would be prepared to tutor almost any subject. I am currently studying for my MCAT exam and am looking for some part-time work as well. I really enjoy teaching and like breaking down complex topics into easier to digest parts. I was a STEM team lead at a summer camp in China, working with students that had limited English abilities. This helped me improve my patience when working with kids and made me look for different ways to explain things if they didn't understand. I will also be a teaching assistant for a Biochemistry class this upcoming fall.
