Tutoring students that find math to be challenging allows me an opportunity to learn their strengths and weaknesses, and guide me on how to instruct the student, in order to meet their individual needs. Witnessing a student learn and grasp math skills is fulfilling as well as seeing their confidence grow.
I am a graduate of Lemoyne College. I have been a math teacher for over 26 years and have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. I have experience working with students who have varying degrees of math skills and understand how to meet their needs. In addition, I have tutored students who struggle in math or may need help preparing for a Regents exam.
