I have an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech with minor in Mathematics. I have a very strong background and broad-based experience in Physics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Differential Equation, and Fluid Mechanic’s. I was a teaching assistant in graduate school, and I have been tutoring since I have graduated.
I enjoy helping students understand the material concepts, work through and practice lots of problems, gain back their self-confidence, score high grades, and achieve their goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with an ice-breaker and an evaluation to get an idea about the student level, background, areas of strength, and areas needed to improve. Then together with the student come up with a work plan to progress through.

How did you get started teaching?
I was a teaching assistant in grad school and I have been tutoring since then.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a large base of students from Middle School to Masters students. I am able to adapt my teaching approach to best fit the student level, background, and address his/her areas needed to improve.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just recently this last semster, I worked with a HS student and was able to help him trun around his Math grades from mid 60s to mid 90s and help him regain his self confidence in the subject and to achieve his goals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I believe best teaching approach is to start explaining from the basics and building the knowledge up. Understanding the derivations behind the rules and theorems makes it much easier for the students to remember/apply.
