Jake's Math Services
About
As a college student, I understand how stressful any level of school can be. I am determined to efficiently help students with any math problems they may have. I have obtained high grades in, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, and algebra. I will help students not only learn the material but also help them understand why it is important. I hope you give me an opportunity because I know you will not be dissatisfied.
Helping students succeed not only benefits the student, but it can also have huge impacts on the world. I can't think of any better impact then helping others make an impact.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to know what the student knows before starting to teach. After evaluating this I know what to focus on moving forward. I tend to touch on everything with a heavier focus on the material the student is not as well versed in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an engineering student, I have had to take several high levels of math courses. I have gotten high grades in all of my math courses and have had a lot of first hand exerience teaching my classmates as well as siblings and family friends.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher you can relate to. Commonality often leads to a deeper level of understanding.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I believe that students should first reflect on what they're looking for in a teacher before selecting one.
