Rochester Institute Of Technology
About
Hello! I am a third year Applied Mathematics and Economics double major at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I graduated high school as Valedictorian, and I am a 4.0 student with plenty of tutoring experience. I have worked as a tutor at the study center on campus, as well as a Calculus TA. I have tutored homebound students at the school for which I am a substitute teacher, and I have tutored plenty of other students as well. I intend to further my education through a Masters in Education and one day become a teacher. In my time tutoring, I have learned how to explain concepts in multiple ways until finding one to help the student understand.

My average rate is $18-$25/hour, and my average group rate is $15-$20/hour each.
How did you get started teaching?
It started with unofficial tutoring of my peers throughout high school. Then, I got jobs at the tutoring center on my campus as well as at the school I graduated from. I also mentored several younger students throughout this time, and I realized this is something I love to do.
What types of students have you worked with?
Primarily high school and college students. I have tutored students ranging from those barely passing basic math because to those trying to achieve a slightly higher regents score in Trigonometry. I also have experience with younger students, but not directly as their tutor.
