I've been and am currently teaching middle school mathematics for 10 years. I also teach Advanced Algebra 1. I've tutored all levels of mathematics k-12. I have tutored for Sylvan Learning Center in Rochester, NY but find that I can offer better, more personalized serviced on my own. I meet with parents and students to develop a plan based on goals and current readiness. I love working with students to help them improve their math understanding and confidence!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with students and parents to determine goals and action steps toward meeting those goals. I will then determine current readiness and begin developing materials to use as I work with the student.
