Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process for working with a new student is simply to find out what they're having trouble with and breaking it down in the easiest way possible!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High school mathematics as well as some college, and I've helped a few of my peers pass their math classes as well so I do have some "tutoring" experience!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Since I'm just starting in the tutoring field, I've decided to set my pricing at $25 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
A friend of mine suggested that I get into tutoring after I helped her pass a test that she was having trouble preparing for, so I figured I'd give it a go!
What types of students have you worked with?
Only some peers in my age group that weren't quite as fast of learners as I was.
