Math Tutoring
About
Hello! My name is Andrew Min and I’m currently work as a billing analyst for a firm in the financial services industry. I have an extensive background in mathematics, with a bachelor’s degree in applied math and statistics and business management with a concentration in finance. I previously worked as a math tutor, teaching small groups and individual lessons for the AMC 8
math test, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, Precalculus, AP Statistics and SAT math. My style of teaching attempts to get the student to fully understand the subject instead of just trying to tailor the sessions around test questions. Students who fully understand the material will end up doing better on exams and actually learn something instead of just forgetting all the material later on. This will help not just in higher education, but later in life as well. I like to think I’m a patient person so if you don’t fully understand a topic, I will work my hardest to try to explain it to you in a way that makes sense. Excited to work with students to help them out in mathematics!
