Josh The Math Tutor

Hello I am a senior in the Mathematics department of UNR, entering my last year of my undergraduate degree. I have a very strong passion for math and science and love showing and teaching people new topics. Learning is my passion and I would love to share my knowledge with as many people as possible. I have an associates degree in Math from Truckee Meadows Community College and have privately tutored multiple clients since 2020.

I'm a former tutor from a nationwide tutoring service and am normally used to working in small groups of 3-4. I loved my time as a small group tutor but by tutoring privately I am able to supply all of my attention and time to better help students understand the topics they need help with. I love to meet students where they are at with their math knowledge, and helping them build up to the desired challenge level.

I am most comfortable with helping students with homework or materials that have already been provided to them. I recommended sessions of 60-90 minutes where we can work on the areas that the student struggles in.
