Danielle G. says, "Aniruddha has been nothing but excellent, knowledgeable, and kind. He is a brilliant teacher who far surpasses any math education experience my daughter has had her entire school career. He has gotten my daughter from average grades in precalculus to all As. His style of teaching is interactive and what math education should be. He is kind and patient, as well as flexible with scheduling. We will continue with A2 tutoring for AP calculus next year, as I know his teaching will be far superior to any education she will get at the high school. I give my highest recommendations, and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Aniruddha. A+++++" Read more

I have an Associate's Degree from Sacramento City College (SCC) and am currently a MechanicalEngineering major at UC Davis. While my time at SCC I've tutored mathematics classes ranging from Intermediate Algebra to Calculus 2. The mathematics courses that I'm least knowledgeable about are Geometry and Statistics. I've always enjoyed teaching students/classmates/family memebers about mathematics. It always bring me joy when people are able to grasp a concept that they've been struggling with for a while. I enjor teaching other mathematics so much that I've contemplated becoming a part-time substitute teacher after acquiring my degree to be a...

I like to make learning easy and fun I received a teaching credential from Chico State back in the 70's and was able to obtain a teaching position in Southern California but left after three years for multiple reasons. Always thought there was a possibility of getting back. Now that I am retired I'm thinking it would be fun to share my lifetime of wit and wisdom.

Exceptional teaching methods, breadth and depth of knowledge, as well as personable nature: these are ways I would describe our experience with Randy. He has been teaching my son high school 2+hours/week for a year. We started with high school math, IM1, but realized Randy’s commitment to education and his students, coupled with his breadth of collegiate level knowledge, offered us an opportunity to go beyond math. In addition, last term, Randy tutored my son in Chemistry as well as IM2. My son is doing extremely well. Part of Randy’s technique (and as a reflection of his personable nature) is the way he discusses a breadth of subjects with my son when they’re taking a break or communicating outside of tutoring session. (Yes, he makes himself available on a as needed basis and checks in with mental math challenges or important information.) Randy explores and engages in hobbies my son has and taylor’s incentives to those interests to encourage rigorous study. Randy also takes an interest in other subjects my son is studying. Randy discusses those subjects using his depth of knowledge in other fields like literature and music, and brings materials to my son to support and encourage his learning in those areas, even though he is not being paid to tutor in those areas. He is very knowledgeable and personable, and above all, committed to my son’s education. We greatly appreciate Randy, and feel fortunate to have him as our tutor.

We just moved to the US from Korea and the change has been very tough for my kids. They are not familiar with the US school system and falling behind. I saw their confidence draining. But all of that changed when SoFlo came into the picture. To start, they gave a free assessment so they could figure out where my children were struggling. From there we had weekly tutoring sessions that my kids actually enjoy. I am seeing their confidence return and life in the US get better for them
