I really love helping people succeed. I've just been obsessed with it my whole life. I know that I can really bring a lot of expertise and a lot of value to this space, so I really enjoy tutoring because I know that I can really make a difference in someone's success in academics. To sum up, I like to help students shine like the star they are!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to sit down with the student and get to know them. I try to get to know their learning style so that I can adapt/cater my teaching style to make my tutoring more effective. I also like to discuss what their academic goals are so that we can create a game plan on how we're going to get them there. Lastly, I like to get to know what the student likes/dislikes so that I can figure out how to best motivate them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I primarily tutor Mathematics (I will be adding Computer Science soon) and I have extensive experience in both elementary arithmetic and more advanced mathematics. I've taken math classes through Calculus II and I am currently enrolled in Calculus III.
I also have experience in teaching in multiple different fields. I've been a figure skating instructor for kids ages 3-14. I have previously worked as a Private Tutor, teaching math levels Pre-Algebra through PreCalculus. I have been a TA for three Google CS First courses. I volunteered as a tutor at a homework center for disadvantaged students in grades K-8. Due to my 5+ years of experience in virtual learning, I was also featured as a panelist on a global webinar, "Making the Transition to Virtual Learning," hosted by Mathspace.
