I am a certified Reading Specialist, K-8 highly qualified teacher, and K-12 practicing school administrator. I enjoy helping families who are struggling with how to help their children, especially in grades K-7. I can help diagnose reading difficulties and quickly develop a plan for improvement. Helping children fall in love with reading is my main goal, and it IS possible with the right interventions. While I was in the Army, I volunteered as a tutor in the Laubach Literacy program. This valuable experience inspired me to go back to school to learn more about the English language and the craft of writing. Thus, in 2016 I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Arizona - Global Campus. And in 2022 I completed my Master of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University.
