In my early years as a young student, my strong suite was never English. I struggled with my word choice, and found it hard to put my thoughts on paper with a flow that would be seen as academically correct. As I progressed through high school, I had teachers and mentors who taught me how to express and integrate my creative flow through my words. My freshman year in high school I took an AP English and Language Arts class. That was my first real exposure to proper English and Writing. After finding my own way of expressing my words, I went on to complete all 4 years of high school in accelerated honors classes while receiving A's in each one...

I am a certified Reading Specialist, K-8 highly qualified teacher, and K-12 practicing school administrator. I enjoy helping families who are struggling with how to help their children, especially in grades K-7. I can help diagnose reading difficulties and quickly develop a plan for improvement. While I was in the Army, I volunteered as a tutor in the Laubach Literacy program. This valuable experience inspired me to go back to school to learn more about the English language and the craft of writing. Thus, in 2016 I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Arizona - Global Campus. And in 2022 I completed my Master of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University.
