I loved working with Arlesia! I’ve worked with her for years. I found her when I was struggling with essay writing in 7th grade. She has a keen eye for grammar, syntax and writing flow. When I don’t really get her corrections she always gives me context and examples. She also uses a lesson plan to keep track of my progress. For the most part, she was always able to edit and help me with my work without taking out my voice from the writing. I would always come to her for persuasive letters, scholarship applications, and school essays. I’m in 12th grade now and I can sure say working with her has paid off! Would highly recommend!

Arlesia was always on time to our meetings. She was always prepared with a lesson plan of the things we were going to learn. She was very thorough in explaining things. At the end of each part of the lesson, she would always ask me if I understood everything. Whenever I had any questions, she would listen to what I had to say and help me get to the root of my question. It always felt so easy to learn new things with her.

I started teaching at an independent contracting tutoring agency called SetSail LLC, where I was the Head instructor for international students and worked on curriculum development for ELA learning and College interview preparation.
