My name is Cara Bani. I am currently an Algebra 1 and 6th grade Math teacher for Elizabeth Public Schools. I also have expierence teaching 7th grade for 6 years. I have my Bachelors of Science in Math Education and my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University. In addition, I have my masters in Math Educational Studies from the University at Buffalo. I won the teacher of the year award for the 7th grade math department for my school district. I believe all students have the capability to succeed. To be a successful teacher you must incorporate a range of strategies and understand not every child learns the same way. I am currently involved in a Tutor Intensification program helping students one on one prepare for the NJSLA. I work with ELL learners, Special Ed and Gifted & Talented students.
