Our vision is focus on exposing all students to math to become great thinkers through interactive activities. Our mission is to impact life and instill dreams by leading and encouraging students to achieve their destiny. We have come to serve all students in the neighborhood regardless of their status in math. Mastermind is also open to engage students in learning how to play interactive games including Chess, Checkers, Japanese Go, Peg Solitaire, Nine Men's Morris, Dominos, 4 Way Count Down, and Soccer game board.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All new students must take a screening test. The result will be use to assess and help student to become successful with Mastermind
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified AP Calculus High School Teacher. Double Masters degree. High School Standard Mathematics Certificate, Supervisor Certificate, and High School Principal Certificate.

$120 per week for 3 hours of tutoring
How did you get started teaching?
Applied Mathematics Students 15 years ago. I took the praxis exams and went through certification process with NJ Department of Education.
What types of students have you worked with?
Grade 9 through 12 graders at the High School. Also work with 6 through 8 graders in Mastermind Tutoring Center

Using manipulative to drive instruction
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always search for an instructor with an impeccable and incredible experience. Must choose an instructor with education from highly recognizable school such as Harvard University
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should be able to identify the topic which they need help with. Student should be ready and prepared to identify specific problem or question which they need help with. Student should be motivated and ready to learn the concept from the teacher.
