About

Friendly and relaxed, I use simple analogies to connect math theory to application. As my former students will attest, I also use humor to refocus the distracted and mentally exhausted. Math is the topic I have the most experience teaching, but I am also knowledgeable in Physics and Chemistry.

My ideal student would meet weekly with me for formal lessons, and chat informally when doing homework. In other words, the lessons are structured to cover the material in the class, but the assistance with homework, preparing for exams, and just talking about life as a mentor 24/7 is included in the price.

I'm a gamer and have many former students in my Xbox Live friend list. Math is fun, but killing Nazi Zombies is how I relax and hang with my posse.

I enjoy seeing students grow and master new ideas. 90% of life really is attitude, and confidence is essential for success in education and life.

It was very easy and understandable. I didn’t have to work hard to grasp concepts I was learning. I never felt disengaged from the content.

Mr. McDaniel was a great college math professor, great sense of humor always made me laugh when I had his class. It would be like us learning math but in a funny way, definitely gets right to the point. I recommend him :) super nice

    Frequently asked questions

I learn the class and textbook we'll be working with, and do a little Q&A about areas of streangth and struggles, and then spend some time determining how a student prefers to learn (style and pace).
