About
I love math, and I really enjoy getting students to the point where they are comfortable enough with math that they enjoy it too! I like helping people understand the rhyme and reason behind math and find ways that they can apply what they are learning to their everyday life.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my degree from UCF in Computer Science.
I have been working as a tutor since 2012. I have generally worked with middle and high school students in math, typically pre-algebra through pre-calculus. I have also tutored at the local community college in their tutoring center, and have substituted at the local high school.
In 2015, I completed the College Reading & Learning Association's Tutor Training Program as part of my training at work at the local community college.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been exposed to teaching my whole life! Both of my parents were math teachers. I volunteered as a tutor in my high school's peer tutoring program, worked as a TA in college, and then continued to work as a tutor after graduation. It is a job that I have found to be very fulfilling! I enjoy helping students reach their full potential.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have mainly worked with middle and high school students, but do have experience working with both younger, elementary aged students as well as experience with adults from my previous work in the community college.
