Hi there! This is the best time to practice and learn for your next school year. I love teaching and have a degree in elementary as well as special education. I have been tutoring for 5 years and have an active teaching license.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Parent to reach out with what their child needs tutoring in for Math. I will then send my availability with my rate per hour and decide on date and time. I will then set up a meeting to be sent prior to the first session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors in elementary education and special education. Soon to have a masters in curriculum and instruction in education. Currently a special education teacher and have an active teaching license.

$40 an hour for a session
$30 for a 45 minute session
How did you get started teaching?
I've always wanted to teach in elementary school. I went to college for my degree in New York where I'm from. I moved to North Carolina and started my teaching career there.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students in grades 2nd through 7th.
Students with IEPs.
