About this tutor

I have training in the newest math curriculums being integrated into schools, such as Open Up Resources and Eureka Math. I can teach students different methods of understanding the concepts and how it is applicable to their daily lives.

In addition, I am bilingual in Spanish, which can help me better communicate with non-English speaking parents.

The best thing I enjoy when working with students is seeing the joy and confidence a students get when they understand the concepts and mastered the skill.

Daisy is patient and a knowledgeable teacher who really cares that her students understand the material AND feel confident going farther. She has tutored my two teenagers, who both look forward to their time with her and always come away better prepared.

We were looking for a tutor to assist our high school senior with the math component of the ACT. Daisy was instrumental in helping our daughter raise that test score by 5 points! She is meticulous, accommodating with her schedule, and had an organized approach to identify areas of study that needed shoring up. As an added benefit, she is incredibly personable and my daughter truly enjoyed working with her. Daisy is an exceptional tutor and someone we’re proud to recommend!

Finding a Tutor that can fully engage a student can be tough, but Daisy is great. The best thing about her teaching style is that she motivates the children and she gets them to enjoy what their doing (learning). Her lessons are always very well planned and thought provoking for her students. She is knowledgeable in her content area and easy to talk to, I would highly recommend Daisy as a Tutor to anyone looking to improve in Math.
