I left a career in computer science to become a math teacher. I've had the honor of being named teacher of the year and last year placed as a state finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science instruction. This is the highest award a teacher can receive in our country. My philosophy is, remove the stress and learning math will become enjoyable!

This woman is great at what she does!
Mrs.Mitchell was my 7th grade pre-Algebra teacher. She made math my favorite subject, she challenged us and made it fun. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Typically I begin by talking with the student and learning about them. Such as goals, grades, strengths, weaknesses, anxiety level, and extra curricular activities.
