Math Whisperer

About

I left a career in computer science to become a math teacher. I've had the honor of being named teacher of the year and last year placed as a state finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science instruction. This is the highest award a teacher can receive in our country. My philosophy is, remove the stress and learning math will become enjoyable!

Mrs.Mitchell was my 7th grade pre-Algebra teacher. She made math my favorite subject, she challenged us and made it fun. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Ms. Mitchell is such a wonderful tutor. She gave my son one on one attention and was able to really increase his understanding of math. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a math tutor.
