I'm a certified K-6 teacher with a Master's in Education. I prefer to tutor K-3. I have three years teaching experience pluses 1 year of substituting for K-5th grade. I love children and I'm good at getting results. Last year I taught 1st grade and they gained 40 plus points on their MAP scores.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk with them and their parents to find out what their specific needs are and plan accordingly. Then I will purchase the materials needed for the student to be successful.

Masters in Education and teaching cerificate.

How did you get started teaching?
My love for children and helping is what made me want to become a teacher.

I've worked with mainly K-2. I have some experience with 4th grade as well.

Work hard and study hard it will pay off in the end.

What are the areas of math are you struggling with. What is the most important concept you need to know for your class.
