HELLOOOOOOO! I have been working with students and tutoring since I was a kid. I'm the oldest of 13 siblings and practiced on them. I have always been good at math. If I made anything less than a 100, I was not happy. I had high standards when it came to math. I studied mathematics in college and started tutoring for the Aggie Impact Scholars at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (A&T) in 2011. I tutored through college math and physics. I started teaching high school math in 2014 and currently still do. I taught statistics with the Upward Bound Program at A&T for 3 summers, where I created the curriculum and activities to fit the lessons. I like to have fun😁. Math can be boring when you do not know how to apply it, so I like finding ways it can be used in the real world, that way when we learn the concepts, it can stick. I can teach and tutor any math subject. You put it in front of me and you will learn it🤓. Now, I have high standards. I do not accept excuses. I am empathetic, but we will find a way to push through and complete the problem. That's math 🤷♂️. Having a challenge/problem and solving it. That's also life. If you can do math, you'll be a BEAST at life.
