I am a certified Elementary and Special Education teacher with more than 25 years of experience in public education. Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, interventionist, and special educator, supporting students across a range of academic needs.

I am particularly passionate about working with students who experience academic challenges due to learning differences. I provide targeted support to address skill deficits and strengthen foundational competencies, while also preparing students for state assessments. My strength lies in identifying specific areas of need through data analysis and delivering focused, strategic instruction that promotes measurable growth.

I am well-versed in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for kindergarten through sixth grade and am highly experienced in preparing students for End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments. My instructional approach is intentional, individualized, and designed to build both academic proficiency and student confidence.
