I love art, so I try to incorporate art and creativity into whatever the student is learning, to better visualize structures and connections.
I love seeing the faces of students when something finally "clicks." I like to hear students say that what they were worried about was actually pretty easy.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would start by figuring out what the student is having trouble with, and what goals they'd like to reach. I would also like to figure out the best tactic (visual, auditory, etc.) to explain concepts, but I understand that that sometimes comes with time.

Bachelors degree in Biology at UNC Chapel Hill, Class of 2018

Generally, I price my lessons at $25/hour.
For children in middle school and below, $15/hour.

I did it part time during high school and during college during the summers.
