Hey, everyone. 👋 I'm Aashi, a recent CS graduate and a passionate mathematics tutor. I have experience of over 4 years teaching all levels of mathematical concepts and topics such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus (1,2,3), Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Statistics, as well as ACT and SAT preparations. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would first like to have an introductory session with the student, so that we both get familier with each other. I would also like to know what they have learnt so far in the subject, so that I can assist them with the best I can.

I am flexible according to what students can afford. I am more focused towards their learning of the subject.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a freshman in college when my earned really good grades in Engineering Math courses and I decided to apply for a part time tutoring job on campus. Since then I have been passionate towards teaching and helping others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all grades and levels, starting from elementary school till seniors of college.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be comfortable sharing your thoughts with your teacher and be honest when you are unable to understand anything and give your teacher a chance to re-explain you something which you are unable to understand easily. If you get your problems clarified the second time, that teacher is potentailly right for you.
