Rohit Kota

Hi, I’m Rohit Kota, a current student at UNC Chapel Hill, doing a double major in Computer Science and Physics with a minor in Business. I’ve been tutoring for over four years now, and my goal is to help students not just memorize material, but understand it on a deeper level so that they can succeed. I mainly work with middle and high schoolers, but as long as they are ambitious and motivated, I welcome learners of all ages. I’ve taught a wide range of subjects, including SAT and ACT prep, math, computer science, physics, economics, and business. More recently, I’ve expanded into tutoring English, biology, chemistry, and earth science. I aim to tailor my teaching style based on what the student needs and their specific learning style. I try to make complex ideas easier to understand, build up my students' confidence, and try to encourage my students to ask questions.
