About
I have a background in Biomedical Engineering and have taken mathematics from Algebra to Calculus 4, Differential Equations and Applied Mathematics. I had the opportunity to tutor my fellow college athletes for my entire college career, so I have plenty of experience in adapting to a student's learning practice.
I really enjoy that "ah ha!" Moment. Allowing the kids to feel confident and get what they are learning is one of the most fulfilling things that I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love to start with what they believe they are good at in the subject to build confidence. Then, I will move into subjects that they struggle with and work heavily with practice examples.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored engineers, biologists and chemists in their respective fields for the last four years. Participating in a Biomedical Emgineering program allowed me to learn fast, different and organized.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a tutor that wants to be adaptable to how you learn. The wrong type of teacher is one that only can teach one way. I feel like I have taught many students, many different ways to achieve their goals.
