I'm passionate about helping students express themselves through writing and explore through reading. I have four years experience teaching ESL classes and two teaching college composition. I have a bachelor's in English Language and Literature and a master's in Education with an emphasis in ESOL and a certificate in TESOL. I will give my full attention to every student to figure out where they're struggling and how they can use their talents and interests to improve in reading and writing!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would first try to understand what the student needs help on by asking questions about assignments and their strengths and weaknesses. I would also like to know their goals so that we can address them together. I would then make a plan for how to reach their goals over the amount of time they have. I like creating lesson plans that involve things they are interested in if possible and using practical experience as much as possible.
