Mattie Griffin

Hi, I’m Ms. Griffin, and I’m a junior at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, majoring in special education. I’m currently student teaching, and it’s been such an exciting experience to put what I’ve learned into practice. I’m passionate about helping students succeed in ways that work best for them, whether that’s through hands-on activities, games, or breaking things down to make them easier to understand. I love building connections and creating an environment where everyone feels supported and capable. I’m so excited to continue growing as a teacher and making a difference!
