I was a math tutor in high school and currently tutor math and English, and am now pursuing a degree inSpecial Education as well as a degree in Theatre. I was the salutatorian of my high school graduating class and have had a 4. 0 GPA throughout my time in college. I love teaching and tutoring and would love the opportunity to work with your student, help them succeed in their classes, and teach them study skills that will help them thrive throughout their time in school!

I have the ability to communicate well with people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of education. I have a Master's degree in Social Work, a profession in which communication is essential. Helping others to learn new things, when a student has the "aha" moment and suddenly all the pieces seem to fit and the subject suddenly makes sense to the learner - a very satisfying feeling.

I love doing algebra and basic math. I got an A+ in my college algebra. I understand for students to find joy in math it has to be fun and I do just that while making sure they understand the material also.
