Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to first get to know the student and see how we are going to work together and inspire each other to keep trying. I want to make a friendship but also a path to be able to communicate and motivate to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When I was in middle and high school, I utilized tutoring to allow me to get ahead and not fall behind. With understanding the course material, I know that I was able to enjoy class more and I was able to ask and answers more frequently in class, which lead to my teachers paying attention to me. Overall, engaged students are an active mind and it will be rewarded. My goal is to motivate your child long term while teaching the current material. I want to help your child become a student and a learner.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I will offer situational based pricing due to course, location and number of children. Starting at $22/hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started to tutor in high school for Key Club and with the current state of schools, I thought my services would be a great way to help students stay engaged and motivated in school while online or otherwise unusual.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with engineering students. I excel with young females and young active, imaginative minds.
