Hello, I have worked in the highschool for the last 11 years as an AVID tutor. AVID is a college prep class. I have worked with 8-12 graders. I have tutored most high school subjects. I am well versed in intermediate algebra and geometry. I have also tutored a 5th grader to help with general studies. I enjoy working with kids and helping them learn and achieve their goals.

I have been a college math instructor for over 20 years and have taught basic math, pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, finite mathematics, math for liberal arts, and statistics. I have also been a private tutor over the years from elementary students through college. I love helping people develop their math skills and am very communicable. I have been in education for 36 years. I started at the elementary level for my first 10 years and then moved into teaching math at both the middle and high school levels after I completed my Masters Degree in mathematics. I have worked for Huntington Leaving Center for several years tutoring in test preparation for math and science. I also have taught English as a Second Language in China for several years.
