I am an engineer, teacher and a mother. I love math and passionate about providing individualized help.

I have been tutoring for the last two years both in person and online.

While my Ph.D. in engineering gave me a solid education in math and statistics my ability to customize my teaching style to each individual’s needs allows me to help wide range of age, grades and backgrounds.

Demet was amazing with my daughter. She gave her the confidence and skills and in just a couple of months her math SAT score improved from 700 to 790. We had tried other SAT prep courses but did not get the individual attention she needed to improve her score. We highly recommend her.

Dr. Woods is an exceptional tutor that has far exceeded expectations! She has been tutoring my daughter in geometry for aprox 6weeks or more.

To say that my daughters subject matter understanding and application abilities have greatly improved since working with her is an understatement.

Dr. Woods talents as a tutor extend beyond subject matter expertise, but even moreso within her ability to simplify the complex to make it understandable in such a way for a student to take that new understanding and actually be able to put it into application afterwards as well. For lack of better words, shes like a magical math language translator. :)

Additionally, Dr. Woods is astounding with her session preparation before tutoring sessions, as evidenced by example worksheets, helpful tutorial documents, and other extra helpful aids shell share with both my daughter and myself. As a mother, I very much appreciate that courtesy of being including regardless that my daughter is in high school.

If youre looking for a tutor to exceed your expectations, I without reservation recommend Dr. Woods. Her services have very much been a wise investment with helping my daughter excel in geometry.
