I am a recently retired teacher, looking for part time tutoring jobs, or jobs helping students with online education. I have 27 years experience with students in 1st through 6th grades, both in general and special education. All 27 years of teaching were in the Ypsilanti School District/YCS. My Michigan Teacher's License is up to date, and I am certified in all subjects, grades K-5, and special education, grades K-8, with a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities.
Although I retired due to COVID-19, I miss working with students terribly, and plan to return to the classroom in a year or two. Excellent references can be provided.
I love working with students, both in Math and Reading. It makes me so happy when a student "gets it" and their faces light up!
