Grace Parkhurst

I am a middle school student (my 8th grade year) and I feel the connection with kids to kids is a lot stronger than adults to kids. Usually people have more respect for someone they can relate more to. I have babysit before and I really love helping people. I would say I’m pretty good and math and can help people understand it in a way that teachers don’t see because they are further from being their age. This I feel is really important because you want your kids to be confident in their learning. When someone falls behind it’s so hard to catch up. I have helped my peers a lot and there understanding is helping them understand further things.
