About

Craig has been teaching math ≈ 26 years in all kinds of settings: large and small groups, as well as one-on-one. He's worked in public, charter, and private schools, and with students with all kinds of attitudes about math.

Craig has extensive experience teaching all levels of maths from pre-Algebra topics through advanced Calculus. He has a very disarming personality which really helps students feel at ease; often making dumb math jokes 😜. Craig definately makes the math seem more doable!

I enjoy the puzzle of math problems and the challenge of understanding all of the whys and the hows. I know math is not everyone's favorite game to play, some people find it intimidating and demoralizing.

If you're here and still reading, it's becuase you're ready. Help is on the way!

There's nothing quite like getting over a big obstacle, a tough class, or even just the next story problem. I can not only help you feel more confident in your skills but make the math less scary.

Let's hang out and do some problems, I promise it gets better 😀

    Frequently asked questions

Happy to chat on the phone before meeting.

I typically meet students at a local library branch (or online) and dive right in! If there are pressing questions we can start there, otherwise, I am happy to provide some informal diagnostics.
