I am an alumnus of the University of Michigan, where I studied Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics at the Honors Undergraduate and Graduate level.

Many people of all ages, including myself, were conditioned to feel as if they were not capable at doing math.
The truth is that environment matters a ton. The teachers should not be there to simply reinforce your skills, but they should also strengthen your confidence while you're at it.
Too many people say math is not for them, when in reality, they're so much more capable.
