I am a professional math tutor who has worked with 250+ students ranging from elementary schoolers to graduate students. I work hard to help my students grasp difficult math concepts, learn to think critically, and become self-confident. I am able to understand a problem from a student's perspective and explain material in an intuitive way.
I tutor because it is rewarding to see my students have an 'aha!' moment as they figure out a tricky problem. I enjoy finding creative ways to challenge and motivate them. It is exciting to get a phone call from a student and hear that a quiz went really well or to find out that after working with me math has become their favorite subject.
