About
My name is Isabel Beariault and I am a freshman at Cornell University studying math. I speak English, Spanish and French fluently and live in Bethesda, Maryland. My tutoring specialties are math, chemistry, English, French and Spanish. Having two younger siblings, I have experience helping younger children with any school related work. I have done extensive SAT tutoring and have also informally tutored many high schoolers in chemistry, math, Spanish and French. At Cornell, I am part of an engineering team that builds bridges in rural areas around the world. It is because of this team that I like to focus on bringing real world examples into my tutoring in order to show children the applications of learning. I also love to write and spent part of my high school carreer writing a blog for the school newspaper. I am very enthusiastic to begin online tutoring and hope to be a resource for students during these difficult COVID-19 times.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Tbe ultimate purpose of tutoring is to help a student to the best of my ability. This requires me to fully understand exactly what each student wants to get out of each session and what each student's learning style is. With this information, I will do my best to meet these needs and teach each student in the way that is most beneficial for them.
