Math Tutor

I've been tutoring for the past two years. I've noticed, that often teachers put up formulas without explaining where they came from, and how to apply them to real-world problems. When I tutor, I place an emphasis on having a deep understanding on concepts we're covering them so they have mastery over the skills they once struggled with. Covering contextual applications and derivations of formulas also make it easier for students to use and apply the knowledge they learned in the classroom to out of class room problems.
