About
I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics from an Italian university (I grew up in Italy).
I have taught Mathematics in high school for 14 years in Houston (TX) and Chicago (IL). I have extensive experience with all curricula from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus. Most of my students have scored 4 or 5 on the AP tests.
My favorite subjects to teach are Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus. I enjoy the challenge that they bring and to help students navigate through that.
The greatest gift of my career has been receiving letters from students who had graduated, thanking me for having prepared them for college and realizing that they had skills and ability to analyze and reason critically that not all their peers had received from their high school education.
I am an outstanding Math tutor because of my extensive teaching experience. I have taught students with different learning skills and styles. I am very familiar with the curriculum and I am aware of which ones are the most difficult concepts to grasp and why.
I am now the Co-Director of a Corporation, however I signed up to be a tutor because I enjoy working with students and I love teaching Math. I am looking forward to working with you!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to contact my new students prior to the lesson, understand what they have been working on and on what they struggle.
If possible, I ask students for materials and I prepare practice problems to address concepts that they need to grasp or practice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Mathematics.
