What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will sit down with the student and go over the subject material that they are currently working with. I will go through the problems with them step by step, working through the problems with them until they grasp the concepts. I will then have them do the work while I ensure it is being done correctly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began tutoring in college to other students in math and engineering. I continued tutoring after graduating, mostly for high school students and a few college students. I have a graduate degree in business and can easily understand and explain most subjects.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the challenge of the subject and ease of teaching it, I charge between $20 and $30 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I began tutoring in college in order to help my for my education. I did that for 4 years and have continued to do so after graduating.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students, from middle school through college.
