Hello!
My name is Caitlyn and I have 9 years of experience in teaching special education and 14 years of experience in working with the special needs population. I hold a Bachelors degree from Towson University and received my Maters of Arts in Teaching Special Education degree from Walden University. Additionally, I’ve taken part one of the LETRS training which allows me to approach reading instruction from evidence-based practices.
I have such a passion for teaching and believe that every learner can succeed with the right tools and supports. I bring creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom and utilize a multi-sensory approach to learning. In addition to working with my students, I welcome all parent collaboration. Teacher and parent communication is a vital role in academic success.
