I have been working with students for 14 years. I have found that my technique of teaching to the student has been very effective in helping my students learn and apply the objectives. I have been very successful in helping students grasp and understand Math.
I am a Home/Hospital Teacher and Substitute for 3 different school systems in the area so I have had a variety of exposure to Math subjects with different curriculum.
I enjoy working one on one with students. I like when a student realizes that they can understand Math!

I like to see where the student is having trouble and understand what I can do to help them on an ongoing basis. I look at the students current grade report to see what areas I may need to go back and reinforce before moving on to the current and future topics in their Math class. I like to keep track of where the student's class has been, is at, and is going so that I am effectively able to help them learn all the material and keep up with, if not ahead of, their class.
I have been a Home/Hospital Teacher in 3 school systems for 14 years and a Substitute Teacher for 4 years. I have been working predominantly with students in their Math courses.
My pricing structure starts at $75/hour and I work via Webex conferencing so that the student can see my work on the screen via whiteboard while we are working. This pricing structure is supported in the area I live in. I am willing to be flexible depending on the area that the student lives in.
I started teaching via Home/Hospital Teaching in my children's school district 14 years ago. I found that I enjoy working one on one with children to help them undersand Math.
All types of students, all ages, all grades, many student with IEP's and 504 plans.
I would advise any student to try a tutor out and see if you work well with them.
1. What is the hourly rate?
2. How often is tutoring needed?
3. What are the students strengths and weaknesses and where can the Tutor most effectively help them.
