Hi! My name is Akhil Aggarwal, and I love to teach! It's been one of my passions growing up, but something I never really pursued professionally. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Finance & Operations and Supply Chain Management, with a minor in Computer Science. I currently work as a business analyst at Capital One.
Although I haven't had too much experience tutoring, I have a strong record in test scores, with a 1570 on the SAT (800 Math, 770 Reading) and a 35 on the ACT. I have also worked as a Kumon tutor, and helped tutor while I was in high school.
I feel like I want to make this as enjoyable as possible. I want us to work together. I will make it my own personal goal to help you succeed as best as I can!
I think I have a very strong understanding of the "why" behind math problems and concepts. Not just memorizing the formulas, but why is something the way it is, and I think that helps me explain it to others. I want you to not just memorize a bunch of formulas, because that will stress you out, but rather understand why the problem is solved in a certain way. I'm positive I can help you get there!
